Product Overview
For projects located in Australian wind regions C and D, Tempest Guard is the ultimate solution for builders and architects seeking robust cyclonic protection. NATA credentials include full certification for withstanding wind speeds of up to 44 meters per second, as per AS/NZS1170.2:2011, including impacts from a 4kg piece of timber and an 8mm steel ball.
Tempest Guard must be installed in an approved cyclonic framing system to ensure full compliance with AS/NZ1170.2. Current certification covers the Capral 400 series framing systems, however compatibility with other aluminium framing systems can be easily achieved via additional certification.
With a maximum panel size of 2450 x 5000mm Tempest Guard offers versatility to builders and architects in creating cyclone-resistant structures.
